91 more Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza

Desk Report:

The Israeli aggression in Gaza is intensifying day by day. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) launched a massive attack across the Gaza Strip on Saturday. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 91 Palestinians were killed in IDF bombings and ground operations in the Gaza Strip yesterday.

According to a report by the Qatari media outlet Al Jazeera, Israel bombed residential buildings, temporary tents for displaced people, and schools that had been turned into shelters. Israeli forces also targeted a truck carrying Palestinians fleeing Gaza City. At least 76 people were killed in these attacks in Gaza City, the largest city in the Gaza Strip.

Four people were killed in the attack on the truck carrying Palestinians. According to Al Jazeera, their mutilated bodies were scattered on the streets.

The house of Mohammad Abu Salmiya, director of Al-Shifa, the largest hospital in Gaza City, was also attacked yesterday. Abu Salmiya lost five family members in the attack.

According to the AFP news agency, Salmiya was working in the hospital’s emergency department like any other day. Suddenly, several bodies arrived. He saw none other than his own family members. He told AFP, “I was devastated when I saw the bodies of my wife and brother. Anything can happen now. You could see the bodies of your loved ones at any time.”

The Palestinian independence movement Hamas condemned the attack. Calling the attack a terrorist attack, Hamas said that doctors were targeted so that they could leave Gaza.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli army has killed 1,700 health workers and detained more than four hundred more.

Meanwhile, the IDF is demolishing the high-rise buildings in Gaza City one after another. According to the Israeli army, they have demolished about 20 high-rise buildings in the last two weeks. Gaza authorities have said that nearly 45,000 residents have fled the city since the Israeli offensive began in Gaza City.
